How much does a Volkswagen Golf cost per day?

A low-cost car rental company should always be in a position to offer the lowest price. Or, even better, the price that the customer is only just prepared to pay. With this idea in mind, interRent asked us to completely rethink the car hire business – from the customer’s point of view. We developed a purely web-based reservation system where customers can determine their own rental price.

Company headquarters, rental locations and customers use the same platform, on which every customer can simply configure his or her own current low price depending on availability and service requirements. In the case of the VW Golf, for example, there are 64,800 price variants every day. The result was a successful market launch for interRent in Germany, which has since been repeated in many countries in Europe.
